The Mission of the Mediation Centre is to:
- Promote access to justice by the provision of the highest quality dispute resolution services to citizens of the state;
- Address the needs of all stakeholders especially the disputants;
- Promote mediation through the use of skilled mediators and enforcement of the mediation agreement known as the Memorandum of Understanding as provided for by the Oyo State Mediation Law enacted in 2005; and
- Provide mediators with resources and means of improving their skills and developmental capacity
